Porsche has officially revealed the new all-electric Cayenne Coupé, adding a sportier and more aggressive version to its growing EV lineup.
The model made its world debut at Auto China 2026 in Beijing and represents Porsche’s latest step in bringing one of its most important SUVs fully into the electric era. While the standard Cayenne Electric already marked a major shift for the brand, the Coupé version pushes the focus even further toward performance and design.
A Familiar Cayenne, But Sharper and Faster
The new Cayenne Coupé Electric keeps the same overall footprint as the standard SUV, measuring 4,985 mm long and 1,980 mm wide, but it sits 24 mm lower, giving it a more athletic stance and better aerodynamics. Porsche says the drag coefficient drops to 0.23, compared to 0.25 for the regular SUV.
The sloping roofline is clearly inspired by the 911, and Porsche redesigned the rear glass, spoiler, and body structure to make the Coupé feel like more than just a styling package.
Even with the lower roofline, practicality remains strong:
- Up to 534 liters of rear cargo space
- Up to 1,347 liters with seats folded
- Additional 90-liter front trunk (frunk)
Three Versions at Launch
Porsche is launching the electric Cayenne Coupé in three trims:
Cayenne Coupé Electric
- 435 hp
- 0–60 mph in 4.5 seconds
- Top speed: 143 mph
Cayenne S Coupé Electric
- 657 hp
- 0–60 mph in 3.6 seconds
- Top speed: 155 mph
Cayenne Turbo Coupé Electric
- Up to 1,139 hp
- 0–60 mph in just 2.4 seconds
- Top speed: 162 mph
The Turbo version becomes one of the most powerful production SUVs Porsche has ever built.
Fast Charging and Long Range
All versions use Porsche’s 800-volt architecture and a 113 kWh battery pack, designed for both strong range and ultra-fast charging.
Key charging details:
- 10–80% charge in under 16 minutes
- Up to 400 kW DC fast charging
- Standard NACS port for U.S. charging access
- CCS adapter included
- Optional AC charging upgrades available
Porsche lists up to 661 km (WLTP) of range depending on the version and market configuration.
U.S. Pricing and Delivery
The all-electric Cayenne Coupé is not just a concept. It is already available to order.
U.S. pricing starts around:
- $116,150 for the base model
- Up to $170,350 for the Turbo version
Deliveries are expected to begin in late summer 2026 in the United States. That means yes, this model is coming to America.
Why This Matters
The Cayenne has been one of Porsche’s most important products for years. Electrifying it was already a major move, but launching the Coupé version shows Porsche is not treating EVs as compromise products.
This is still a Porsche-first vehicle:
- performance-focused
- premium-priced
- built around driving feel
The difference is that now it happens without an engine.
Final Thoughts
The all-electric Cayenne Coupé is Porsche showing exactly where its future is heading.
It keeps the identity of the traditional Cayenne, adds stronger design appeal, and delivers performance numbers that rival supercars.
For buyers looking at premium electric SUVs like the Tesla Model X, BMW iX, or Mercedes EQE SUV, Porsche just made the competition a lot more serious. ⚡️
