Tesla Raises Model S and Model X Prices by $15,000 After Production Ends

Tesla has increased prices by $15,000 across all remaining new and demo Model S and Model X vehicles in inventory, according to TeslaTracker data.

The price hike comes shortly after production of both models officially ended, turning the remaining units into limited inventory.

New starting prices are now:

  • Model S AWD: $109,990
  • Model S Plaid: $124,900
  • Model X AWD: $114,900
  • Model X Plaid: $129,900

Inventory is extremely limited. Earlier data showed only 13 new Model S Plaid units remaining in the U.S., now reduced to just four vehicles.

The move is notable given Tesla had been offering discounts just days earlier, with some buyers securing deals up to $8,690 below sticker price.

With the sudden price increase, buyers who acted early effectively saved $15,000 or more, while remaining units now carry a premium tied to their limited availability.
